Central Obrera Boliviana, COB, revolution

Bolivia’s labor force was 3.4 million in 2000. Nearly the entire nonfarm labor force is organized, most of it in unions belonging to the Central Obrera Boliviana (COB), the central labor federation. Peasant unions were established after the 1952 revolution.
